The Hosanna choir, it brings a sound,
That rings with praises all around.
Praises that to God abound,
And like the thunder shakes the ground.
In song we're brought in Heaven bright.
We see the angels in their might.
We see Christ raised to glorious height.
There is our God of perfect light.
We hear the organ pipes sing out,
Through the choir rings the Victor's shout.
In song we reach to those without,
As they wonder what it's all about.
The trumpet and the flute take part.
The piano too, may not depart.
It has been that way from the start.
They leave fond memories in the heart.
If on earth such amazing joy takes place,
How grand it will be to see Christ's' face.
Surrounded by angels with wing as lace.
Lord, help us run this earthly race.
Without God's gifts this cannot be.
The director must the music see.
And all together in true degree,
We long for God's eternity.
Hosanna choir, now faithful stay,
And pray that God will haste the day,
That we longing then will hear Him say,
In Christ I have put your sins away.
With joy, oh choir, your hearts now fill,
And ever prosper in God's will.
The praise of the Lord, no man can still,
For you are God's light upon the hill.
O come, let us sing unto the Lord:
let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
- Psalm 95:1
